Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to define and ensure completeness of features

Collaborate on system architecture designs

Write well-tested, reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and supporting view code

Work with QA to plan and execute testing of new features

Participate in task/feature estimation process

Provide technical feedback to aid in gathering of requirements

Participate in knowledge-sharing code reviews 

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience building and maintaining high volume multi-tier website applications

Experience with Ruby on Rails or Spring/JSP

Familiarity with popular JS libraries like jQuery and Backbone

Ability to clearly and succinctly express your opinions and ideas

Confident self-starter capable of setting plans and driving to completion

Bachelors degree in CS or related field preferred

Good sense of humor and enjoys working in a team

Strong design sense

Familiarity with agile development (Scrum, Kanban) a plus

Familiarity with Amazon Web Services a plus

Expertise in CSS3/HTML5 definite plus
