GrabCAD is building the next generation of collaboration tools for mechanical engineers and designers. We already host the largest community of designers in the world (>650,000 and growing) and our vision is that someday every physical product designed will move through GrabCAD. That means reaching more than 2 million 3D CAD users with technology and content that help them get their job done faster. We’re backed by Matrix Partners and Charles River Ventures and we’re expanding rapidly in all areas.


We see your role as:
Our sales model is entirely based on inside sales reps (ISRs), who are dedicated to converting free users and community members to paid users. We’re also very focused on learning more about our customers and how we can help them, so ISRs are very involved in understanding user needs and working with the product team. We are just starting our sales process so we expect lots of experimentation and change – if you’re looking for a ‘9 to 5’ sales job this isn’t for you.


We need someone who can:




  • Develop and accomplish a sales plan, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets
  • Maintain accurate prospect and customer information in Salesforce.com, provide accurate forecasts and reporting on Opportunity process
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction and identify customer feature requests; feed that information to the Product team and Customer Support
  • Provide feedback to Executive Management on what is working, what’s not and recommend changes to the sales process where applicable
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team

We expect you to have:




  • 3 to 5 years selling IT products or services
  • Preference is given to candidates selling SaaS services
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Experience working in fast-paced start-up environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems
  • B.A degree required

  • Experience introducing new products to market
